CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: video-i2c: use vb2_video_unregister_device on driver removal
The driver uses vb2_fop_release() as its file release operation, so
vb2_video_unregister_device() should be used instead of
video_unregister_device() during driver removal.
This ensures that the vb2 queue is properly disconnected before the
video device is unregistered. |
| IBM MQ could allow an authenticated attacker to cause a denial of service through a specially crafted message that triggers excessive memory operations during character set conversion. |
| SiteServer SSCMS through 7.4.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in ChannelsController that allows site-scoped administrators to access other sites' channels by supplying foreign channel IDs. Attackers with Channels permission on one site can read and overwrite another site's channel names, file paths, templates, link URLs, and custom fields, breaking multi-site isolation. |
| pupnp is an SDK for development of UPnP device and control point applications. Prior to 2.0.0, multiple ixml DOM traversal functions process deeply nested XML with unbounded recursion. The iterative XML parser accepts the document, but ixmlPrintDomTreeRecursive in ixml/src/ixml.c and ixmlNode_getElementsByTagNameRecursive, ixmlNode_getElementsByTagNameNSRecursive, ixmlNode_cloneNodeTreeRecursive, and ixmlNode_isAncestor in ixml/src/node.c recurse over firstChild and nextSibling links. An unauthenticated peer on the local network can supply deeply nested XML through a SOAP request, exhaust a service thread's stack, and crash the UPnP service. This is an incomplete-fix case for CVE-2021-28302 because its remediation converted ixmlNode_free but left these traversal paths recursive. This issue is fixed in 2.0.0. |
| Avahi is a system which facilitates service discovery on a local network via the mDNS/DNS-SD protocol suite. In versions 0.9rc2 and below, avahi-daemon can be crashed via a segmentation fault by sending an unsolicited mDNS response containing a recursive CNAME record, where the alias and canonical name point to the same domain (e.g., "h.local" as a CNAME for "h.local"). This causes unbounded recursion in the lookup_handle_cname function, leading to stack exhaustion. The vulnerability affects record browsers where AVAHI_LOOKUP_USE_MULTICAST is set explicitly, which includes record browsers created by resolvers used by nss-mdns. This issue is patched in commit 78eab31128479f06e30beb8c1cbf99dd921e2524, which is part of version 0.9-rc3. |
| The FluentCart A New Era of eCommerce â Faster, Lighter, and Simpler plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.0 via the 'order_id + billing_address_id (also shipping_address_id)' parameter due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read and exfiltrate another customer's stored billing and shipping address PII â including street address, city, state, postcode, phone number, company name, VAT number, and legal registration ID â by enumerating sequential AUTO_INCREMENT order and address ID pairs. The id-equality guard intended to restrict address reuse is bypassed because the attacker controls both halves of the compared pair, and the unauthenticated AJAX entry point imposes only a soft rate limit of 5 requests per 60 seconds rather than any authentication or ownership check. |
| OpenBao before 2.6.4 and 2.7.x before 2.7.1 does not verify, when renewing a token issued by the Kubernetes Auth method, that the service account token originally used to authenticate is still valid. An authenticated attacker can keep renewing such tokens to persist access after the Kubernetes service account has been deleted. |
| Lotus through 0.10.2 contains an insecure direct object reference vulnerability in SubscriptionViewSet.get_object() that uses an unscoped queryset without organization filtering or permission checks. Authenticated users or API keys from any organization can supply another organization's subscription_id to read, cancel, update, switch plans, or modify addons, altering another tenant's billing. |
| Netmaker through 1.7.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the updateExtClient handler that allows network-scoped users to modify external clients on other networks. Attackers with external client permissions on one network can send PUT requests to /api/extclients/{network}/{clientid} to replace public keys, disable clients, and obtain WireGuard private keys. |
| Bytebase before 3.16.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the UpdateIssueComment handler that allows low-privileged project users to modify comments in other projects by supplying a foreign comment UID. Attackers with any project role, including Project Viewer, can set their own project's issue as parent and reference another project's comment UID to overwrite comments they cannot access. |
| Vyper 0.4.0b1 through 0.5.0b1 miscompiles unfoldable constants and omitted default arguments from imported modules, because parse_Name resolves their names in the using function's scope rather than at declaration. When a contract's parameter, local, or loop variable shares such a name, attacker-influenced input can replace the intended value, including out-of-range values for narrow types such as uint8, corrupting validation or accounting logic. |
| GitPython is a python library used to interact with Git repositories. Prior to 3.2.1, create_submodule() in git/objects/submodule/base.py accepts an attacker-influenced submodule path such as .git/hooks and invokes _clone_repo() before safely rejecting the destination. In 3.1.x, _validate_repo_path() does not exist and the call succeeds silently, while in 3.2.0 and later affected revisions the check in git/index/base.py raises ValueError only after the clone has written to disk and does not remove the planted file. An attacker-controlled submodule can therefore place an executable post-checkout hook that a later Git operation executes. Exploitation requires an application to accept an untrusted submodule path and a clone destination such as .git/hooks that is empty enough for Git to clone into it, which commonly means that default sample hooks are absent. This issue is fixed in version 3.2.1. |
| Django REST framework is a toolkit for building Web APIs. From 3.12.0 until 3.18.2, TokenProxy.delete() in rest_framework/authtoken/models.py uses the proxy's user-id pk while the concrete Token token-string primary key identifies rows, so Django issues a deletion query that matches no row and reports zero deletions without raising an error. Applications, administrative integrations, or operational scripts that revoke credentials through a TokenProxy instance can therefore believe revocation succeeded while the token remains live and continues authenticating. DRF's own TokenAdmin.delete_model workaround is not affected, but other callers can leave access available indefinitely because DRF tokens do not expire automatically. This issue is fixed in version 3.18.2. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: fix lease break and ack state handling
Do not skip valid lease states containing WRITE_CACHING when breaking
level-II/read leases for writes and truncates.
Handle lease break acknowledgments according to the SMB2 rule that the
acknowledged state must be a subset of the server's break target. Apply
the acknowledged state directly and keep the break pending on failed ACKs. |
| F´ (F Prime) is a framework that enables development and deployment of spaceflight and other embedded software applications. Prior to 4.2.0, Fw::FilePacket deserialization used by Svc::FileUplink is vulnerable because Header deserialization casts the byte to the Type enum without validating its range and FilePacket::fromSerialBuffer reaches a default FW_ASSERT. When a network file packet contains an unknown file-packet type byte, the assertion aborts or resets the default Ref application process, causing denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.0. |
| Dell PowerScale InsightIQ, versions 5.2.0 through 6.3.0, contains an Overly Restrictive Account Lockout Mechanism vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Denial of service. |
| On Windows, PHP's filesystem and stream APIs do not reject reserved device names such as CON, PRN, AUX, NUL, COM1 to COM9, LPT1 to LPT9, CONIN$ and CONOUT$ when they appear as a component of a path. An attacker-controlled filename therefore reaches CreateFileW() and opens a device instead of the regular file the application expected, which can block or hang the request and exhaust worker processes. |
| Fat Free CRM before 0.26.0 contains an insecure direct object reference vulnerability that allows authenticated users to modify or delete other users' comments because CommentsController#update and #destroy use an unscoped Comment.find without authorization checks. Attackers can send PUT or DELETE requests to /comments/:id with enumerable sequential IDs to edit or delete comments on contacts, accounts, leads, and opportunities owned by others. |
| cleanup_xml_node() in the SOAP XML parser recurses once per XML nesting level with no depth limit. An unauthenticated attacker can post a SOAP request containing tens of thousands of nested elements to any SoapServer endpoint, exhaust the stack and crash the process. The same unbounded recursion exists in the SOAP value decoder and in the WSDL node search helper. |
| Scoold is a Q&A and a knowledge sharing platform for teams. Prior to 1.69.1, the getBackToUrl() method in src/main/java/com/erudika/scoold/utils/HttpUtils.java validates the backto and returnto parameters with Strings.CI.startsWith against the configured server URL. An attacker can supply an absolute URL whose hostname begins with the legitimate hostname, causing URI.resolve() to retain the attacker URL and the prefix check to accept it. A victim who follows the crafted sign-in link can be redirected to an attacker-controlled domain after authentication, enabling phishing and possible credential or token theft. This issue is fixed in version 1.69.1. |
