| CVE-2026-56000 | 1 X.org | 3 X Server, Xorg-server, Xwayland | 2026-07-10 | 7.8 High |
| Local attackers with a X connection able to provide GLX commit to the X server xorg-server before 21.2.24 and xwayland before 24.1.13 could cause a Heap Use After Free, due to CommonMakeCurrent() pointing into potentially reallocated memory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-10536 | 2 Curl, Haxx | 2 Curl, Curl | 2026-07-10 | 9.8 Critical |
| A use-after-free vulnerability exists in libcurl when an application configures an HTTP/2 stream-dependency tree via `CURLOPT_STREAM_DEPENDS` or `CURLOPT_STREAM_DEPENDS_E`, subsequently invokes `curl_easy_reset()`, and finally terminates the handle with `curl_easy_cleanup()`. During this final cleanup phase, libcurl attempts to access and modify an internal structure that was already freed during the reset operation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46215 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-09 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm: Set old handle to NULL before prime swap in change_handle There was a potential race condition in change_handle. The ioctl briefly had a single object with two idr entries; a concurrent gem_close could delete the object and remove one of the handles while leaving the other one dangling, which could subsequently be dereferenced for a use-after-free. To fix this, do the same dance that gem_close itself does. (f6cd7daecff5 drm: Release driver references to handle before making it available again) First idr_replace the old handle to NULL. Later, if the prime operations are successful, actually close it. create_tail required a similar dance to avoid a similar problem. (bd46cece51a3 drm/gem: Fix race in drm_gem_handle_create_tail()) It idr_allocs the new handle with NULL, then swaps in the correct object later to avoid races. We don't need to do that here, since the only operations that could race are drm_prime, and change_handle holds the prime lock for the entire duration. v2: cleanups of error paths | ||||
| CVE-2026-54778 | 1 Corewcf | 1 Corewcf | 2026-07-09 | 6.2 Medium |
| CoreWCF is a port of the service side of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) to .NET Core. Prior to 1.8.1 and 1.9.1, CoreWCF UnixDomainSocket POSIX peer identity resolution uses non-reentrant getpwuid and getgrgid calls, allowing concurrent connections to attribute one connection's identity to another or crash the host process under contention. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.1 and 1.9.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-60002 | 1 Openbsd | 1 Openssh | 2026-07-08 | 7.7 High |
| ssh in OpenSSH before 10.4 can have a use-after-free when a server changes its host key during a key re-exchange. (This outcome occurs only on the client side.) | ||||
| CVE-2026-9080 | 2 Curl, Haxx | 2 Curl, Curl | 2026-07-06 | 7.3 High |
| Calling `curl_easy_pause()` within the event-based `CURLMOPT_SOCKETFUNCTION` callback triggers a use-after-free vulnerability, where libcurl attempts to store a flag using a dangling struct pointer immediately after that pointer's memory has been freed. | ||||
| CVE-2026-14788 | 2 Radare, Radareorg | 2 Radare2, Radare2 | 2026-07-06 | 3.3 Low |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in radareorg radare2 up to 6.1.6. Affected by this vulnerability is the function r_core_bin_load of the file libr/core/cfile.c. Such manipulation leads to use after free. The attack needs to be performed locally. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The name of the patch is 635ab1eeb30340c26076722a90cb91fb2272130b. Applying a patch is advised to resolve this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53157 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-04 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: phonet: free phonet_device after RCU grace period phonet_device_destroy() removes a phonet_device from the per-net device list with list_del_rcu(), but frees it immediately. RCU readers walking the same list can still hold a pointer to the object after it has been removed, leading to a slab-use-after-free. Use kfree_rcu(), matching the lifetime rule already used by phonet_address_del() for the same object type. | ||||
| CVE-2026-55510 | 1 Imagemagick | 1 Imagemagick | 2026-07-02 | 5.5 Medium |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 6.9.13-51 and 7.1.2-26, when identifying an image with a crafted 8BIM profile with a specific format string a use-after-free will occur. This issue has been fixed in versions 6.9.13-51 and 7.1.2-26. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54898 | 1 Ohler | 1 Oj | 2026-07-01 | 6.5 Medium |
| Oj (Optimized JSON) is a JSON parser and Object marshaller packaged as a Ruby gem. In versions prior to 3.17.2,Oj::Parser#parse is vulnerable to a heap use-after-free when a SAJ/SAJ2 callback mutates the input JSON string during parsing. The C engine holds a raw const byte * pointer into the Ruby string's internal buffer. If a callback (e.g. hash_start) resizes the string — for example by calling String#replace with a longer value — Ruby reallocates the string buffer and frees the old one. The C parser's pointer is left dangling; the next character read at parser.c:607 is a use-after-free. This issue has been fixed in version 3.17.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54899 | 1 Ohler | 1 Oj | 2026-07-01 | 6.5 Medium |
| Oj (Optimized JSON) is a JSON parser and Object marshaller packaged as a Ruby gem. Prior to version 3.17.2, disabling symbol_keys on a reused Oj::Parser instance triggers a heap use-after-free. When symbol_keys is toggled from true to false, opt_symbol_keys_set frees the internal key cache (cache_free) but does not clear the pointer. The next parse call reads from the freed cache via cache_intern, producing a use-after-free. This issue has been fixed in version 3.17.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-12610 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Sssd | 7 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 4 more | 2026-07-01 | 6.4 Medium |
| A flaw was found in sssd. When authenticating with a YubiKey, the SSSD PAM responder can crash due to a use-after-free vulnerability, where a memory pointer is incorrectly handled. A local attacker could exploit this flaw by manipulating smartcard or YubiKey contents, leading to a denial of service that disrupts authentication. This vulnerability also presents a potential for privilege escalation, although it is difficult to exploit. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46523 | 1 Imagemagick | 1 Imagemagick | 2026-06-30 | 6.2 Medium |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 7.1.2.23 and 6.9.13-48, a crafted MSL image can trigger a heap-use-after-free. Versions 7.1.2.23 and 6.9.13-48 fix the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2025-61664 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2026-06-30 | 4.9 Medium |
| A vulnerability in the GRUB2 bootloader has been identified in the normal module. This flaw, a memory Use After Free issue, occurs because the normal_exit command is not properly unregistered when its related module is unloaded. An attacker can exploit this condition by invoking the command after the module has been removed, causing the system to improperly access a previously freed memory location. This leads to a system crash or possible impacts in data confidentiality and integrity. | ||||
| CVE-2025-61663 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2026-06-30 | 4.9 Medium |
| A vulnerability has been identified in the GRUB2 bootloader's normal command that poses an immediate Denial of Service (DoS) risk. This flaw is a Use-after-Free issue, caused because the normal command is not properly unregistered when the module is unloaded. An attacker who can execute this command can force the system to access memory locations that are no longer valid. Successful exploitation leads directly to system instability, which can result in a complete crash and halt system availability. Impact on the data integrity and confidentiality is also not discarded. | ||||
| CVE-2025-54771 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2026-06-30 | 4.9 Medium |
| A use-after-free vulnerability has been identified in the GNU GRUB (Grand Unified Bootloader). The flaw occurs because the file-closing process incorrectly retains a memory pointer, leaving an invalid reference to a file system structure. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause grub to crash, leading to a Denial of Service. Possible data integrity or confidentiality compromise is not discarded. | ||||
| CVE-2025-54770 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2026-06-30 | 4.9 Medium |
| A vulnerability has been identified in the GRUB2 bootloader's network module that poses an immediate Denial of Service (DoS) risk. This flaw is a Use-after-Free issue, caused because the net_set_vlan command is not properly unregistered when the network module is unloaded from memory. An attacker who can execute this command can force the system to access memory locations that are no longer valid. Successful exploitation leads directly to system instability, which can result in a complete crash and halt system availability | ||||
| CVE-2026-53296 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-29 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mailbox: mailbox-test: free channels on probe error On probe error, free the previously obtained channels. This not only prevents a leak, but also UAF scenarios because the client structure will be removed nonetheless because it was allocated with devm. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53300 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-29 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: enetc: fix NTMP DMA use-after-free issue The AI-generated review reported a potential DMA use-after-free issue [1]. If netc_xmit_ntmp_cmd() times out and returns an error, the pending command is not explicitly aborted, while ntmp_free_data_mem() unconditionally frees the DMA buffer. If the buffer has already been reallocated elsewhere, this may lead to silent memory corruption. Because the hardware eventually processes the pending command and perform a DMA write of the response to the physical address of the freed buffer. To resolve this issue, this patch does the following modifications: 1. Convert cbdr->ring_lock from a spinlock to a mutex The lock was originally a spinlock in case NTMP operations might be invoked from atomic context. After downstream support for all NTMP tables, no such usage has materialized. A mutex lock is now required because the driver now needs to reclaim used BDs and release associated DMA memory within the lock's context, while dma_free_coherent() might sleep. 2. Introduce software command BD (struct netc_swcbd) The hardware write-back overwrites the addr and len fields of the BD, so the driver cannot rely on the hardware BD to free the associated DMA memory. The driver now maintains a software shadow BD storing the DMA buffer pointer, DMA address, and size. And netc_xmit_ntmp_cmd() only reclaims older BDs when the number of used BDs reaches NETC_CBDR_CLEAN_WORK (16). The software BD enables correct DMA memory release. With this, struct ntmp_dma_buf and ntmp_free_data_mem() are no longer needed and are removed. 3. Require callers to hold ring_lock across netc_xmit_ntmp_cmd() netc_xmit_ntmp_cmd() releases the ring_lock before the caller finishes consuming the response. At this point, if a concurrent thread submits a new command, it may trigger ntmp_clean_cbdr() and free the DMA buffer while it is still in use. Move ring_lock ownership to the caller to ensure the response buffer cannot be reclaimed prematurely. So the helpers ntmp_select_and_lock_cbdr() and ntmp_unlock_cbdr() are added. These changes eliminate the DMA use-after-free condition and ensure safe and consistent BD reclamation and DMA buffer lifecycle management. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53290 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-29 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe/eustall: Fix drm_dev_put called before stream disable in close In xe_eu_stall_stream_close(), drm_dev_put() is called before the stream is disabled and its resources are freed. If this drops the last reference, the device structures could be freed while the subsequent cleanup code still accesses them, leading to a use-after-free. Fix this by moving drm_dev_put() after all device accesses are complete. This matches the ordering in xe_oa_release(). (cherry picked from commit 35aff528f7297e949e5e19c9cd7fd748cf1cf21c) | ||||
