CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability has been identified in the libarchive library, specifically within the archive_read_format_rar_seek_data() function. This flaw involves an integer overflow that can ultimately lead to a double-free condition. Exploiting a double-free vulnerability can result in memory corruption, enabling an attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial-of-service condition. |
| The system certificate authority (CA) store in Red Hat products, distributed via ca-certificates RPM packages, included multiple root CA certificates of authorities, which signed intermediate CA certificates with weak private keys issued by the eMudhra certificate authority. A man-in-the-middle attacker could use this flaw to issue certificates for arbitrary host names signed by the weak intermediate CA certificates, which would be considered trusted by a TLS/SSL client using system CA store and cause such clients to connect to malicious sites.
Due to inability to only distrust specific intermediate certificates in all clients using the system CA store, root CA certificates of authorities that signed weak intermediate CA certificates are being removed. |
| A flaw was found in GIMP. Opening a crafted XCF that selects a path and then fails to load that path can cause a use-after-free in the main process, leading to a crash and potentially arbitrary code execution. |
| A flaw was found in GIMP. Opening a crafted XCF with a malformed text-layer parasite can cause a heap out-of-bounds read, disclosing adjacent heap data into layer text and causing denial of service. |
| A flaw was found in GIMP. The XCF loader can leave a dangling pointer in the linked-channels list when a linked channel is later destroyed via a selection property. Opening a crafted XCF file can cause a use-after-free in the main GIMP process, leading to a crash and potentially arbitrary code execution. |
| A flaw was found in GIMP. The PSD thumbnail resource loader performs a BGR-to-RGB channel swap with a fixed 3-byte stride and does not verify that the JPEG thumbnail is RGB. A crafted grayscale PSD thumbnail can cause a heap out-of-bounds read and write in the plug-in process, leading to a crash and potentially arbitrary code execution when the victim browses or opens the file. |
| Sandboxie-Plus is an open source sandbox-based isolation software for Windows. Prior to 1.18.6, a process inside a sandbox could send MSGID_FILE_SET_ATTRIBUTES or MSGID_FILE_SET_SHORT_NAME to SbieSvc and cause the SYSTEM service to open and modify an existing file outside the sandbox. The direct primitive changes file attributes, timestamps, writeability, or 8.3 short names; a short-name redirection can additionally contribute to SYSTEM code execution when a privileged process resolves an attacker-controlled short-name path in a location SbieSvc can open. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.18.6. |
| A flaw was found in Ghostscript as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8. The correction for CVE-2019-14869 was omitted during the rebase from version 9.25 to 9.27, leaving privileged .forceput operations in the .charkeys procedure insufficiently protected. Processing a specially crafted PostScript file may allow an attacker to bypass -dSAFER restrictions and access files outside the permitted paths or execute commands with the permissions of the Ghostscript process. |
| VitaFit Android application (com.vt.vitafit) before 2.8.1.0 contains an insecure session management vulnerability that allows attackers to extract or intercept unencrypted m_session_id tokens stored in application backups, which remain valid for ten years. Attackers can use a stolen session token to read and modify the victim's account or delete the account's authentication record, preventing the legitimate owner from logging in again. |
| A flaw was found in Goose. When the terminal integration feature is enabled, the application captures shell command history and sends it verbatim without sanitization to configured Large Language Model (LLM) provider endpoints during queries. If a user enters sensitive data—such as API tokens, passwords, or environment variables containing secrets—in the terminal, this unredacted information is transmitted across trust boundaries. This can lead to sensitive information disclosure, exposing confidential credentials to external service providers and logs. |
| VitaFit Android application (com.vt.vitafit) before 2.8.1.0 contains a hardcoded credentials vulnerability that allows attackers to extract confidential third-party integration secrets by decompiling the APK. Attackers can retrieve embedded WeChat, Tencent QQ, and Fitbit credentials from the decompiled application to abuse the active third-party application registrations. |
| VitaFit Android application (com.vt.vitafit) before 2.8.1.0 contains a cleartext traffic vulnerability that allows network-based attackers to intercept or modify unencrypted HTTP communications due to the absence of an Android network security configuration. Attackers on an untrusted network can manipulate support content displayed to the user by tampering with unencrypted HTTP traffic between the app and server. |
| A local privilege escalation vulnerability was found in the ansible.posix authorized_key module. The module's keyfile() function uses os.chown() instead of os.lchown() and opens files without O_NOFOLLOW when managing SSH authorized keys. An unprivileged local user can pre-stage symbolic links in their ~/.ssh directory to redirect file ownership changes to arbitrary system paths when an operator runs the authorized_key task as root, leading to local privilege escalation. |
| A missing authorization vulnerability was found in the Event-Driven Ansible (EDA) websocket API. The /api/eda/ws/ansible-rulebook endpoint does not verify user permissions when processing Worker messages. Any authenticated user can send a forged message with an arbitrary activation_id to receive plaintext credentials associated with that activation, including OAuth tokens, vault passwords, and SSH keys. |
| An integer overflow flaw was found in the SASL I/O layer of 389 Directory Server (389-ds-base). In sasl_io_start_packet(), adding sizeof(uint32_t) to a crafted SASL packet length prefix of 0xFFFFFFFC causes unsigned wraparound to zero, bypassing the nsslapd-maxsasliosize limit and leading to a heap buffer overflow of up to approximately 2 megabytes of attacker-controlled data. After a successful SASL bind with integrity protection (SSF > 0), a remote attacker can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) or achieve Remote Code Execution (RCE). In FreeIPA and Red Hat Identity Management deployments, any domain user with a valid Kerberos ticket, enrolled host, or service account can trigger this vulnerability over the network. This flaw is independent of CVE-2025-14905, which patched schema.c only and did not modify sasl_io.c. |
| A heap buffer overflow flaw was found in the SASL I/O layer of 389 Directory Server
(389-ds-base). After a successful SASL bind with integrity protection (SSF > 0),
an authenticated attacker can send a specially crafted oversized LDAP UNBIND packet
that is copied into a 512-byte heap receive buffer without a bounds check in
sasl_io_recv() in sasl_io.c. This allows up to approximately 2 megabytes of
attacker-controlled data to overflow the buffer, causing a denial of service (server
crash). In FreeIPA and Red Hat Identity Management deployments, any domain user with
a valid Kerberos ticket, any enrolled host, or any service account can trigger this
vulnerability over the network after authenticating via GSSAPI.
The vulnerable code path has existed since approximately 2013 (389-ds-base 1.3.2) and
was not addressed by the CVE-2025-14905 fix, which patched a separate heap overflow
in schema.c only. |
| Improper isolation of shared resources in aws-network-policy-agent in Amazon EKS Network Policy Agent before 1.3.7 (VPC CNI before 1.22.3) might allow an authenticated adjacent user to bypass NetworkPolicy ingress enforcement on co-located pods via eBPF conntrack map poisoning using crafted AF_PACKET frames.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to Amazon VPC CNI Managed Add-on v1.22.3 or later (which includes Network Policy Agent v1.3.7). |
| VitaFit Android application (com.vt.vitafit) before 2.8.1.0 contains an insecure TLS/SSL certificate validation vulnerability that allows network-based attackers to intercept and modify HTTPS traffic by exploiting a custom X509TrustManager that trusts all certificates and a hostname verifier that accepts any hostname. Attackers can perform a man-in-the-middle attack to capture account sessions and health-related API data, and use a captured session to delete the account's authentication record and prevent legitimate login. |
| A flaw was found in gnome-remote-desktop as shipped in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. In the VNC TLS I/O handlers, retryable GnuTLS results (GNUTLS_E_AGAIN and GNUTLS_E_INTERRUPTED) are handled with an unbounded busy loop instead of yielding to the event loop. A remote attacker who can reach an enabled VNC TLS listener can cause the event-loop thread to spin at high CPU with no forward progress, resulting in denial of service. |
| An access control bypass flaw was identified in Samba's vfs_ceph_rgw module in it's openat() function. An authenticated user can bypass access controls to read or overwrite restricted files on shares configured with the experimental vfs_ceph_rgw module. When a client requests an existing file using mismatched character casing, the module fails to perform a case-insensitive lookup correctly, causing the server to treat the operation as creating a new file. As a result, the server skips standard permission checks on the existing file, allowing the attacker to access or overwrite sensitive data owned by other users. |
